Herald Cancer Care conducts an ongoing training program to equip Chinese Christians who are interested in acquiring the proper caring skills, and who are interested in becoming HCC volunteers. The two half-days training workshop includes several modules, such as cancer 101, understanding the emotional challenges of cancer, listening and communication skills, proper visitation etiquette, and extension of emotional and spiritual support. It is conducted in Cantonese. A nominal fee is charged to cover materials. Contact us for next training schedule and venue.

本中心舉辦經常性的癌友關懷訓練 (以粵語講座)，歡迎有負擔幫助癌友、願意參加義工行列的基督徒來學習正確的關懷技巧。這兩個半天的課程內容包括：癌症基本常識、認識癌症對病人情緒的沖擊、聆聽及交談的技巧、探訪病人要注意的禮貌，與如何在情緒及精神上支持病人。參加訓練者需交酌量的課本費用。以下網站提供訓練課程的時間及地點。
